A Medical Examiner Is someone who is to investigate deaths and injuries that occur under unusual or suspicious circumstances and to perform examinations .
Education/Training Required:
- A four-year bachelor's degree
- A medical examiner must earn a medical degree,
- Take part in a five-year residency in anatomic and clinical pathology
- Do a one-year fellowship in forensic pathology.
Responsibilities and Daily Activities:
- Medical doctors that perform autopsies
- Run clinical and forensic tests
- Witness in cases for undetermined or violent deaths
- Observe mystery deaths in depth to determine how the death really happened
